Mohan Shakti National Heritage Park, Solan is situated near banks of river Ashwani, 12 kms from solan is built on over 100 acres of land. The park was founded by Mohan Shakti trust and it consists of a temple which has many different idols of gods. The art work of the temple is mesmerizing and beautiful.

Tattapani is located around 50kms from Shimla and is famous for its hot water spring on the river beds of Satluj. Native people believe the water has high medicinal value and is good for skin as it is rich in sulphur. There are many activities which can be done, such as river rafting etc.

Hatu Peak is an ideal place for people looking for a one day trek, situated near Narkanda. It is surrounded by a dense forest consisting of pine and deodar trees. The trek is concluded upon reaching the famous Hatu Temple, dedicated to Mandodri, the wife of Ravana. The lush green forest and snowy mountains make it a treat for eyes.

Tani Jubbar Lake is another desitnation you can visit if u place to visit the famous Hatu peak. It is one of the most scenic lakes around Narkanda. There is also a small temple dedicated to “Naag Devta God of Snakes” near the lake. One can enjoy the serene views of mountains sitting by the lake.

Shali Tibba is another option if you are planning for a one day trek. The trek usually starts from a village named Khatnol, which is 35kms from Shimla. The shali Tibba temple located at the peak of shali peak is said to be the highest point around area, and the temple holds significance to the native people.
